Review on BOSS Audio Systems CH3220 Car Speakers - 140 Watts of Power Per Pair, 70 Watts Each, 3.5 Inch, Full Range, 2 Way, Sold in Pairs, Easy Mounting by Sarah Chase

I originally bought these speakers in January. They look very good and sound very good, with excellent highs and mids (and little bass response for such a small speaker). I don't turn up the volume (there are usually two kids in the truck), but I appreciate good sound quality. However, less than a month later, one of them stopped working and Revane replaced it with another pair. Everything was fine until the end of March, when another stopped working. I've played around with this and the cables running through the speakers to the tweeter have been a problem both times (poor connections. I could push the cable a bit and it would work properly). I can try to find a way to put in a very small drop of solder to restore the connection, but I'm not sure if that will work or not. I really hate that this has happened because they sound great when they work but they have already let me down twice in less than 4 months of use. Next time I'll order a pair of Polk, Boston or Clarion for only $15-30 more than these but good quality and great sound. These $16 Boss speakers actually sounded every bit as good as my Pioneer speakers and way better than the factory speakers. If only they lasted a few years instead of a few months.
