You have to clean this item regularly!
I’ve been using this for three months and I do recommend them but the description is misleading. The description makes it sound like you just use it and never need to clean it. I HIGHLY recommend boiling this product for five minutes at least once a month. It absolutely needs to be sanitized (and not by your shower gel!) regularly. If not, it will harbor bacteria the same way a regular loofah will.
