Parts were literally manufactured incorrectly. There should be support shelves for the bottom shelf, and they have mounting holes facing outwards. I thought maybe I did it wrong because the instructions are terrible too, but no. The holes were drilled from the wrong side. It's like one size fits all furniture, only it doesn't even fit together properly. It's too hard to go back. I know you get what you pay for but with other reviews I didn't think it would be that bad
