Review on πŸ”§ Responsive/Non-responsive Bearing: Yoyo King's Ultimate Solution for Enhanced Performance by Eddie Curd

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Excellent response, doesn't respond, doesn't even work

The shape, finish and smoothness of the bearing of this yo-yo are excellent. Not overly responsive, but not overly receptive either. It's great as a responsive yo-yo. However, the benefit of this yo-yo is its ability to not react, which doesn't work at all. The axle the bearing sits on is too short and cheap. If the original bearing is replaced with a large, unresponsive C bearing, it will not close fully. This tears the thread until it becomes unusable. When the bearing was first replaced, the threads on the axle stripped slightly. Because it didn't fully tighten, the yo-yo would fall apart about every 5-10 minutes until the third time the thread was too ragged to even tighten without any reaction. So I got immune yo-yo for about 30 minutes before it stopped working at all due to immunity. Again, the responsive little bearing is fine and works great, but this yoyo doesn't perform as advertised so it's overpriced.
