Review on TETON Sports Oasis Hydration Backpack - 2-Liter Water Bladder for Backpacking, Hiking, Running, Cycling, and Climbing by Corey Burgess

Revainrating 5 out of 5

After 23 months of searching for hydration packs I finally found my perfect backpack

I need a hydration pack that is great for long hikes, has enough room for a few essentials and isn't bulky because I have a small have physique. It also had to be light because I wanted to be able to run longer distances in it and not weigh myself down. It also had to be cheap. I could find packages that met at least one of these criteria, but I wanted the complete package. I checked the size, it was about the size I wanted and had enough room for my needs. I looked at the price and it's within my budget. I loved everything about this backpack and decided to buy it. Pockets: The backpack has four zippered pockets, the largest of which is used for a hydration bladder, and a Velcro strap to keep the hydration bladder in place. There are also two holes on the top of the shoulder straps for the bladder tube to pass through. The second zip pocket is a regular storage pocket. You can put your gym clothes, groceries and electronics inside; pretty much everything you need for running or long hikes. I use it to save an extra bubble in case I might be away for a long time. The next pocket is big enough for your wallet, keys, protein bar, flavored drink mix. The last pocket is larger than the smallest pocket and can be used for a cell phone or small electronics. This bag has two elastic pockets and a clip. The outside of this bag has a mesh of elastic bungee cord that can be used to hold various items in place. Another pocket offers space for a rain cover for a backpack. It is located at the bottom of the packaging labeled "RAINCOAT". It's a Velcro pocket and easy to miss if you don't know what to look for. It's actually great because it doesn't distract from the backpack. Accessories: The backpack comes with two side elastic bottle holders. It has different clips to tighten or loosen the backpack to make it easier to carry different items. There is a clip I used to open the last bag. I used to keep the towel in place. It can be used to store climbing ropes or other items. On the back of the pack are two strong 1cm thick foam pads that run the length of the pack. They are covered with a breathable material in the form of a mesh-like structure. The shoulder straps are very thin and are made of thin foam with a large surface area for breathability. There are two stabilization straps. One runs down the chest, and the orange buckle that attaches the belt has a built-in survival whistle that's pretty loud. The second strap runs along your waist and has more slack to accommodate different waist sizes. There is a strap on the top of the backpack for hanging the backpack. A little thing that a lot of people don't know is that there is a V-shaped hole at the very bottom of the pack. It is in a bag that contains a water bladder. This is necessary to drain water if your pack gets wet. Seams: I have checked and observed the seams on this backpack and I can say with certainty that it is really well made. The stitching is barely visible and they use thread color to match your chosen package color. It's actually very beautiful. Verdict: I do my best to provide helpful reviews and I try to be as detailed as possible. I try to be impartial and all my reviews are written and rewritten to ensure I am providing the most current information. I have ordered and tested this pack on several hikes and runs and have found it to be one of the most affordable hydration packs on the market. I ordered the green bag because green is my favorite color and the bag itself is very nicely designed. I tend to order another pack if anything happens to my first and recommend them to friends and family as well. I liked this product and I give it five stars.
