I have low porosity 4b/4c hair and this conditioner worked well in the shower despite being vaseline in consistency. It was smooth and allowed my tight convolutions to loosen and smooth out, as well as a lovely smell. BUT when I got out of the shower and the steam came off my mirror, I was shocked. My hair looked dull, dry and frizzy and felt rough, the exact opposite of how it felt in the shower. This was the first time I had to put water back on my hair after a shower to make the "O" out of the "LOC" system, my hair was so dry. It was a lesson for me to read the ingredients before buying; 1st ingredient is glycerin, 2nd ingredient is water, 3rd ingredient is alcohol.
