Review on πŸŽ’ Black Thule Subterra 30L Backpack by James Fisher

Revainrating 4 out of 5

30L bigger than it looks

When I ordered the 30L backpack I was expecting a decent backpack but to my surprise it was even bigger than I expected. This worked well for me as I carry quite a bit of gear with me, from multiple laptops to DSLRs, drum machines and ZOOM recorders. My Subterra combines all of this at the same time and sits comfortably on my back. Meanwhile, the build quality is excellent, as you'd expect from THULE, and features like a side zip for your laptop are great. However, I would like the extra compartment to be zipped a little further as others have mentioned and it could probably be a LITTLE smaller. However, 23L would be too small for my needs, so I may be wrong. 23L as it's more minimal, but if you have serious moving gear then the larger size is the way to go. Either way, you will definitely get a beautiful and quality product. I look forward to many rides on this thing.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Obsolete model
