I recently realized that the free plastic insurance folder that fell apart in my glove box was over 20 years old; I also noticed that I can probably buy one now. This is the one I bought. I liked that there were many different pockets in this folder as I still have a few other papers in it (what to do in case of an accident, AAA card etc.). This heavy duty binder will last me the next 20+ years of my driving life if the freebie lasts longer than 20 years. Since it only sits in my glove box and is small, I removed the Velcro buckle to trim the profile. I did it carefully with a ripper (sewing terminology). Nice professional looking folder, I'm not sure if it'll help my situation if I ever get stopped, but for a second it might make me feel alright.
