Review on πŸš— High-Quality Mud Flaps Replacement Set for Nissan Frontier 2005-2019 - 4-Piece by Omar Alradwan

It could have been better, but it worked as expected.

So these things fit my 14 year old Frontier. Basically, I bought them because of the price. Zero stars for durability as they were recently installed so I can upgrade later. A higher quality version of this product costs an unreasonable amount of money and I don't know why something so mundane would cost so much, let alone make it difficult for Frontier to find online. With most things you get what you pay for so I guess time will tell if they were primarily intended for cosmetic purposes or if they actually fail. They give the truck a slight but noticeable sporty flair and after driving in wet weather I can attest that they do a decent job of protecting the paintwork from dirt spatter, rocks etc. That being said, I've mixed with the feeling of these things. Out of the box, they're flexible, thin, and feel like recycled Rubbermaid storage cases, and the locking grommets feel torn if you overtighten them, so either be careful or get them really tight. and neat, or just grab some nuts/washers/bolts and some good threadlock if you think they might pop out. They work as advertised and the only gaps are due to the spacers between the fenders and fenders. THE GAPS STILL ARE! So when washing your truck, be sure to spray more water into the cracks/crevices to ensure the dirt doesn't rot the clamps or mounting holes. The protection is very light, and with the noticeably wide tires that come with the Frontiers, they don't add drag on the freeway due to air pockets, so that's another plus. The holes seemed to have been torn off a bit, but after tightening everything up the curvature must have made it intentional. When they're in place they're very stiff and feel nice, so maybe I'm just expecting them to feel like fenders on a semi-trailer, but they don't. Set everything loosely first, then gently press everything down. So if you want to add practical protection and style to your little beast these things are worth it, even if they do rot and fall they are cheap enough to buy a second set and replace.
