Review on Vera Bradley Utility Crossbody Camo Recycled Women's Handbags & Wallets and Crossbody Bags by Jennifer Costa

Gorgeous green color scheme; Too fluffy, outdated look

This is my first Vera Bradley bag so I didn't know what to expect but I know it's popular and well priced. This recycled cotton shoulder bag costs $65 at the time of writing this article. There is nothing wrong with the bag itself. However, I don't like a boring, outdated style. I'll run with it on the weekends, but it's not a bag I'd bother to get back. Bright green color, durable nylon shoulder strap (with adjustable buckle) and washable. Cotton material is excellent. Just the right size and basic style for most occasions (except formal). It is suitable for everyday use. But there are a few aspects of this bag that don't fit my "style". First, he's ridiculously plush. I assume this is to prevent the shape from sagging. But the plush full-body pillow gives the impression that this bag is heavier or bulkier than necessary. In addition, the thick padding on the front prevents one of the outer pockets, which are decorated with a tiny magnetic fastener, from closing even when they are empty. Instead, it just hangs askew and gaping. You can't put anything in that bag and expect it to stay there. The clasp is too small and the plush is too bulky. My large iPhone (with case) fits comfortably and securely in the open pocket next to it. Adequate interior space for a wallet, keys and a few essentials. Many inner pockets run the full length of the bag. Unfortunately, the lining is outdated and disgusting. Sorry but to me this is aesthetically ugly and reminiscent of something my grandma would wear. He's too busy piling up green and white designs and scrolls.
