Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

The speed that can be achieved over wifi is pretty slow; it reminded me of the speed that can be achieved when downloading images via a telephone cable. In a general sense, it is suitable for attaching a PC, particularly in circumstances where pulling the wiring would be difficult or lazy.

Excellent product, the best quality.

I noticed that many who write that the device does not work well do not understand the logic and principles of the wi-fi technology. Only one thing can be advised on this - to study the materiel. Some pros: Stable reliable dongle. On Linux distributions, after installing the driver, it works stably and without problems. It's the same on WinXP. Has some cons: After installing the drivers from the manufacturer's website, I did not find it.

I was looking for an adapter that will get up without drivers and kernel modules on Ubuntu 16.04. This is the first one I've found. Very satisfied. Some pros: Communication without loss of speed and without interruptions, small, there is even a flashing indicator, inexpensive, does not heat up (contrary to previous reviews), the range is large enough Has some cons: : The case broke after about a year (the cover flies off), but the adapter itself continues to work.

A worthless product, definitely not worth your money!

This is my first Wi-Fi receiver and a strong disappointment. Confidently receives a signal only when you sit under the router. At 5 meters and line of sight from the router, the signal goes out 2 times, after 10 meters it is completely lost. Also, walls are contraindicated for him. Outcome - thrown away.

Lousy product, very low quality.

It is better to take something more expensive, otherwise if you want to intercept, it will do for a couple of months, but no more. Has some pros: I expected more from this device. There were no problems in the settings. Cons: Lost connection all the time. There were also stable periods of work. The signal does not hold very confidently, two divisions on the indicator.

A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

As for the drawback, when I connect Bluetooth headphones, it drops to 300-600 kb / s. Fixed with aux cable on headphones (another topic).

Pros
  • Size, Compact, Range, 3 Mb / s is enough for me, Failures are very rare.
Cons
  • The internet drops a lot when Bluetooth is on.

Actual for TL-WN725N Ver:2.0 - It was possible to raise the access point on Windows XP x32 only after setting up a network connection and completely disabling the firewall. On Windows 7 x32 and Windows 7 x64, it was not possible to start the adapter in access point mode (SoftAP). Conclusions that I made for myself in the process of using: - Do not try to use the adapter as an access point. - Torrents are contraindicated. - Install only drivers (do not install the utility). From the tray…

Pros
  • - Miniature design. - Price. - Drivers out of the box and a clear 2022-language installation guide. - In adapter mode, it corresponds to the declared characteristics. - Sustainable work.
Cons
  • - The adapter is very sensitive to the power supply mode of the USB port (it is familiar to those who have encountered a situation where a branded joystick is sometimes detected in the system, sometimes not). - Access point mode (SoftAP) in model Ver:2.0 is a publicity stunt. - Feels like it is not suitable for frequent "taken out-inserted", as it is easy to tear off the "head" of the device.

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

The soft AP worked by itself in W7x64. but not immediately, but only after _turning on_ the firewall. I measured the speed as a client, connecting to the Dir-300 at a distance of about 10 meters: the speed on speedtest. Net is 1.5-2 times lower than when using the "old" D-Link DWL-G520 with a PCI interface. Initially, I took a dongle to distribute WiFi from an office PC to a smartphone, the device copes with this task perfectly. It fully justifies its price of 290.

Pros
  • Price, soft AP
Cons
  • The USB connector has an EAC sticker, which, when the device is connected, slowly peels off, and dust begins to stick to the remaining glue - I had to scrape off the sticker and wipe the glue with alcohol.

I hope at least someone from the t-link reads here. I'm sorry, but it's really dumb. Something will be changed in the drivers. Why release such a product. We don’t pay fake money, but more and more - nothing to buy, no desire. From cars to such trifles. the, although not a cake, is such a pity for all these imperfections. I read, someone wrote, the Realtek drivers helped in the original. I willcomnduct an experiment. And I'll probably give it back. . Su/? dev=VID_0BDA%26PID_8179 : Earned. As…

Pros
  • Mal.
Cons
  • Doesn't work (more in the comment). Everything that has already been written is the truth. The connection is broken completely. I took it for a nettop 3Q, for an Internet broadcaster - it is constantly cut down. Traffic - 60 kbps and does not pull. Even to go in with a teamviewer - the connection is restored for a long time if there is a break. Do not take . It turned out to be no better than the Chinese noname, albeit with firewood included.

Think twice before you buy-the product is disgusting.

For some reason, it constantly causes a system crash and a blue screen on the computer. Most often, the win32kbase and ntkrnlmp. Exe errors appeared in the dump, but there were others. Installing different versions of drivers and BIOS firmware did not help. Reboots stopped after installing an adapter of a different model. Characteristics of the system on which failures occurred: System: windows 10; Processor AMD Athlon 3000G 3.5GHz; Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-A320M-H; Memory module KINGSPEC…

Pros
  • Inexpensive, compact
Cons
  • Conflicts with other devices
