    Nice price, good quality.

I plugged it into the desktop on Windows 10, I didn’t have to install the driver, everything picked up by itself. I chose "Wireless Network 2" in the Wi-Fi settings and everything flew - honest 90 Mbps as per the tariff, even a little more. The only problem is the LED indicator. Very bright, and even made in such a way that it can be seen along the entire length of the device. A poisonous green blink is very noticeable with peripheral vision. For 5 minutes while I was sitting at the computer…

    Pros
    • Communication quality and ease of setup.
    Cons
    • Outrageous LED indicator!

A super thing for modest money - the wire is also of excellent quality, I use it on TV for a flash drive - a nice bonus. All gadgets saw 5gz only when manually setting the channel to 44. Pros: Great speed for little money. Connected via 5Gz holds a maximum of 867 Mbps. Got cons: When connected to Windows 10 46 bit, I pulled up the driver from Windows, which is why I flatly refused to see 5 gz. I installed the driver from the TP Link site - now it flies and catches with a bang.

Poor quality, not worth the money.

I join the negative reviews about this device - it really started to work extremely unstable after a while - it constantly falls off, then it cannot find the network, after rebooting the PC it finds the network for a few seconds (up to two minutes), then - all over again. I do not recommend anyone to buy.

How could such a bad product be made?

On Win 10, drivers are installed automatically, for 2022 . A similar version on the off site of the manufacturer is "the latest". Through 5g gave out !15%! from the maximum speed according to the tariff. For a long time I was looking for a solution to the problem, I found a review that the realtek driver helped. Here I didn’t understand anything at all and they advised me to install Snappy Driver Installer. I chose to ate the network drivers with the adapter connected and lo and behold ! The…

Disgusting, will never recomend it for anybody!

In order to play 4K content on my brand-new television, I needed to purchase this component and install it on a DLNA server in my home. The blue screen of death appears in Windows 7 whenever you make an attempt to install the driver from the disk. Downloading the driver from the office's website yielded the "First Released" version, which was as out of date as a mammoth. It was discovered that it does not provide support for the 802.2ac mode. The official forum has been abandoned, with posts…

    Pros
    • Doesn't have
    Cons
    • Communication instability in the 5 GHz band, a lack of available drivers, and inadequate technical support from the manufacturer all contributed to the issue.

An adapter was purchased so that a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone could be connected to a personal computer. The adapter is currently connected to a USB 2.0 port. The function of an access point can be fulfilled by either a phone or an adapter. In the first scenario, the connection is formed at a speed of 144 Mbps with the default parameters, whereas in the second scenario, the connection is established at a speed of 130 Mbps. You can join to the network using the native software that was used to…

    Pros
    • Functions properly "right out of the box," does not become overheated, and does not dangle.

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

It just so happens that I do not utilize the services of home providers because the base station for my mobile operator is located in front of my house, and this provides me with a channel that is adequate for LTE. Up until the summer of 2022, I didn't give much thought to the frequencies and standards used by WiFi. Instead, I simply distributed traffic from my mobile device to a stationary personal computer, which had an external 2.4 GHz TP LINK USB module connected to it. At the time…

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

An ASUS RT-AC66U router is used in conjunction with the adapter. Buying suggestion: 1) watching IP TV over Wi-Fi, including channels with HD quality; 2) taking advantage of the 5.0 GHz band; and 3) making use of the Wi-Fi standard of 8022022ac in speed. At a frequency of 2.4 GHz, more than 20 networks are visible in my apartment, and there are no free channels that do not overlap each other. In addition, there is microwave interference. After the adapter has been linked to a laptop running…

    Pros
    • Elegant, well-assembled, uncomplicated, and dependable operation in accordance with the guiding idea of "switch it on, set it up, and forget it."
    Cons
    • When not linked directly to the USB port, the cable for the connection is somewhat vast in size and quite thick.

I am very upset, the product is no good.

I purchased this incredible device the year before last, and while it functioned normally on Windows 10, I did on occasion experience issues with firewood (now, by the way, they are gone). However, after approximately a year, my whistle became ill, alarm bells began to appear, and the Internet began to intermittently stop working. This condition was treated by chopping off or cutting off the adapter itself. The problem continued to worsen, and eventually it stopped functioning altogether. He…

    Pros
    • Transmitter power. Twenty is not a terrible number in and of itself, yet it should come as no surprise that it smashes through two walls with a loss of up to forty percent. This relates to the 2.4GHz frequency. Many thanks for the cord that was included.
    Cons
    • Brilliant LED, at first it will infuriate you if it is not plugged into the wire, and you should throw it away from sin. a short expected span of life. This model can live anywhere between six months to a year.

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

As a result, I almost do not use it, it became irrelevant. IMHO if you need more powerful - it's better to take with a separate antenna, but not necessary - it's better to have something more compact. Not a particularly successful design, it will almost certainly block all neighboring ports.

    Pros
    • the waffle shoots, although not on all declared
    Cons
    • bad design, falls off in Windows 11 (didn’t delve into it, laziness and not really necessary, there is a wire there)

    A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I thought for a long time before buying an adapter, since I had never used such devices before, and the reviews on various resources are mixed. In the end, very happy with the purchase. There is a USB cable in the kit, it was very useful, because the adapter itself is overall and if you connect it directly, then you won’t be able to connect anything to the adjacent port. There were no problems with the installation. Inserted a disk, installed, launched, and forgot about everything. Everything…

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Until the summer of 2022, I didn’t bother about WiFi frequencies and standards, I just distributed traffic from my smartphone to a stationary PC, to which there was an external 2.4 GHz TP_LINK USB module connected to it, and everything seemed to be ok. With the pandemic, apparently, more neighbors began to “clog”…

Poor quality, not suitable for use.

I am an incoming administrator. During the mass transition from ethernet to wifi, I was looking for a way for desktop computers. It was necessary exactly 5 GHz and the 8022022ac standard. T4U was purchased from a dozen pieces for different organizations. In 90% of cases the same result. Hanging network once or twice a day. As a result, hanging online work, and endless frenzy of users. At 2.4 GHz, it usually works without failures, but at this frequency it is not possible to fully replace…

    Mediocre product, probably won't use.

(further I describe the procedure, only for those whose device does not work adequately out of the box (it turns off, there is not enough 5G, the speed is low, for some reason the drivers included and from the TP-Link website do not allow the device to work fully in the 5G range, with 2.4Gz no problems were noticed even from the box.)) In order to start using the device fully, you need to do the following: 1. Install Realtek USB WLAN Family Controller RTL8812BU drivers (because the device runs…

    • The MOST serious drawback is that the kit does not come with a Tambourine, with which you will have to dance more than one dance in order to adequately set up, install and operate the device. Explanations in the comments.

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

It catches networks perfectly - just like the network built into the Intel Centrino 2230 + 5Hz laptop. The maximum speed reached at 5Hz - 18 MB per second (144 Mbit cable or 288 Mbit Wi-Fi). The point no longer gives out - there is a maximum of 300 Mbps, but there is no more abruptly. I tested it with three points, it pumps everywhere and gives out stably, almost does not heat up. Downloaded up to 200GB - no subsidence and glitches. In soft point mode on Windows, the speed is a maximum of 9 MB

I was cheated! Product does not correspond to the description at all.

I bought this unit to install on a home DLNA server in order to play 4K content on a new TV. When you try to install the driver from the disk, Windows 7 crashes into a blue screen. At the office site downloaded the driver marked "First Released", ancient as a mammoth. As it turned out, it lacks support for 8022022ac mode. The official forum is dead, posts from 2022. I contacted technical support, where they gave me a link to a beta version of the driver two years ago, in which there was…
