The product is very low quality, not what you need at all.

If he works for you for a week, you rejoice early. All the fun will start later. One day your computer will go to sleep or reboot, and wake up left without a network. And when you try to connect to 5 GHz, your adapter will disappear from the system, then spontaneously install and cheat in all possible ways. Only 2 GHz will work. This is on a fresh system with licensed win10x64 with native drivers from the manufacturer's website. A request to 2022 support did not give exactly any result, the…

Pros
  • corresponds to the declared characteristics
Cons
  • size, driver stability, support

Windows 10, stuck, downloaded the latest drivers. I connected to a Linksys E3000 router (5Hz, but the maximum speed is n). Speedtest showed the maximum speed of the channel (I have 75 megabits). Then I set torrents to download, with a wire the torrent flowed at maximum speed, about 8 megabytes / s, then the speed was about 6 megabytes / s at the most. Perhaps the matter is in the router, then that it does not support ac. By the way, the adapter was plugged into USB2.0, but I don't think that…

Pros
  • Price compared to competitors
Cons
  • Doesn't work at advertised speed, but still pretty decent

I needed a WiFi adapter for my computer, not expensive but with a good receiver. The connection took 5 minutes, and there is nothing special to configure there. The router (mine and not the provider's) is in one room, the computer is through 2 doors in another, the provider's channel is 100mb, the signal is excellent, the speed corresponds to the speed of the provider, which is strange, since I did not hope for a miracle. Yes, here's another thing, at first the speed was low, you just need to…

Not happy with this product, bad in use.

The first month everything was great. I put it on a new computer, the device worked like a clock. In the second month, connection failures to the 5 Hz network began. "Failed to connect to the network." Looked through the Internet - the problem is common. Two days in the evening after work, I conjured with ports and the region in the router settings to get connected. Now there is channel 48, the US region. Phew, it worked. If not for these problems, I would put a solid five. 2.4 Hz works without

Pros
  • Ease of installation
Cons
  • 5 Hz connection falls off

My money wasted, product is terrible.

I connected a new Internet to the apartment, GPON 200 mb / s. immediately checked the iphone 7 gives out almost 300 mb / s for download and 250 for upload. But the laptop turned out to not see the 5GHz range and gives out only 35-40 mb / s. I bought an archer t4u specifically for a laptop, plugged it into USB, chose a 5GHz network, connected and the download speed was 4-5 mb / s and 170-190 mb / s by upload. Very strange. I switch to 2.4 GHz, the speed is the same . I turn off the adapter…

The quality is so-so, the price does not match the quality.

I bought it in Yulmart, they sold the v2 version for the American market, the installation on a poppy is buggy, on Windows it’s simpler, but the driver could only be downloaded from the American version of the site. The adapter itself worked, but the setup program for 10 Windows did not see the whistle. The 5 GHz network is limited to the slowest channels 36-48. For a laptop, so-so property.

Pros
  • there is nothing to compare with, but I did not find it in comparison with the dead module in the laptop.
Cons
  • broke after a month

Terrible quality, disappointed with the purchase.

For sane money, a USB scroll is faster and harder to find. In my case, the antenna can not be opened, no difference in speed. It heats up moderately. Pros below: * I am supplementing the review, everything below is the first impressions in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, there will be more negative. This thing overheats and falls off, stuck it in a new computer, it was necessary to reload the games. It rides great. provider 600 megabits uses 80 percent, but not for long. Overheating = dump…

The right product for me, there were no problems.

An excellent device, before that I sat on dlink dwa-140 for a long time. The whistle began to heat up wildly and cut off, hanging the entire system, Ralink's firewood solved the problem a little, but still the adapter from dlink was chopped off periodically. I decided to ate the whistle, and in order not to get up 2 times, I immediately took the latest version - 8022022ac + USB 3.0. I have a MikroTik RB951G-2HnD router, so I'm still testing at 8022022n speed. The difference is palpable, the…

Pros
  • Fast, bug-free, does not heat up.
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet.

The product is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

I use it in conjunction with the D-Link Wireless AC1200 Dual Band Router When installing Win 10 x64 drivers were found automatically (The adapter works with them flawlessly). When installing drivers from the manufacturer's website, the adapter simply stopped seeing all networks. Conclusion: use the default drivers. With its pros. Work in 2 modes, does not heat up even during gaming activities. At an Internet speed of 100 mb / s, it outputs 94-88 in AC mode and 85-81 in normal mode. There…

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

It rarely happens, unfortunately, but now is just such a case. Device without flaws. Unless you can find fault with the size, but this is nonsense. Never for several did not disappoint for months. I recommend to hook it with a native thick cable to USB3.0 on the back of the computer and take out the whistle to hang somewhere in the open. Directly (without a cable) to the port is also possible, but then the reception will be a little worse and the heating will be a little more. On Windows 10,

Pros
  • High speed and stability, low heat, 5GHz support, good sensitivity.
Cons
  • Didn't find

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

The adapter was purchased to connect a PC to a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and is connected to a USB 2.0 port. Both a phone and an adapter can act as an access point. With the default settings, the connection is established in the first case at a speed of 144 Mbps, in the second 130 Mbps. The access point on the adapter was created by a native utility, and you can connect to the network with it, or you can use Windows tools. To exchange files, an Ftp Server from The Olive Tree version 1.25 was…

Pros
  • Works "out of the box", does not heat up, does not hang
Cons
  • Price

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

A few months ago, I bought this adapter. I liked the modern design and reasonable price. Works good. The data exchange speed is excellent, so far I'm not complaining. I was pleased with the connection interface for such money. There were no problems with the installation. I installed it in a laptop, it seems like it doesn’t really interfere, it only closes the neighboring port. How much I use, I did not observe strong heating.

Pros
  • Acceptable price. Good design.
Cons
  • Did not notice.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The item is average, not sure if it's worth the money.

I was looking for a new whistle with the presence of 5 GHz. I read a lot of reviews and realized that for a reasonable price, a whistle that works flawlessly cannot be found. In the first year of not very intensive work, the adapter worked quite normally, hanging up a month. But unfortunately, in the conditions of self-isolation, its true face began to emerge, a couple of times a week, either a freeze, or a dump, or a drop in speed. The simplest equipment, but they cannot do it without…

Pros
  • - price - 5 GHz
Cons
  • - job instability - intermittent freezes

Love it or hate it

I bought this USB adapter with an Archer C7 dual band router to upgrade my home wireless network. After a week of frustration I'm ready to return it. I believe this adapter is one of those devices that you will love if it works on your system. Initially I had no problems installing it and the speeds combined with the C7 router were the best I've experienced. I had a day and night of speed demon surfing. The disaster struck the next morning when I turned my system back on and Windows 7 wouldn't…

They work great for me! I say "they" as I bought 2 of these, one for each of my computers that I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to 10. An interesting note - I upgraded from Win 10 in mid-April 2016, so I'm guessing that Win 10 has already helped solve many of the problems others have found with older installations. I had no problems upgrading either of my computers to Win 10, except that Wi-Fi stopped working on both after the install was complete. I've used old Medialink Wi-Fi adapters in…

Great upgrade for an old laptop - Mac OSX compatible with El Capitan

I have this on a MacBookPro5,4 (Mid 2009) with OSX 10.11.6 (El Cap) with the latest drivers from TP Link Installed . available on their website. Installing the driver was easy and worked straight away with no issues. The adapter is plugged into a USB 2.0 port and my network is provided by an Archer C7 v2 router. Internet Speed WRT, when connected directly to the router I get about 105Mbps (slightly more than what I'm actually paying for), via Wi-Fi, when sitting 5ft from the router I get about…

This worked really well, but read this if you're having trouble.

Ok, now I have a stable connection with good speed. I almost reached the declared speed of 250 Mbps (see photo). It worked right out of the box and Windows 10 64-bit took over. I installed the driver from the TP-Link support site, but there doesn't seem to be much difference between it and the driver selected by Windows. Now I really started having issues 20 minutes after connecting, disconnecting and refusing to reconnect on the 5G band, even after shutting down and restarting. This seems to…

This adapter could not be connected to one of my wireless routers.

I was very happy that it worked with my new wireless router. My other TP-LINK Mini 450 was only connected at 5GHz, I didn't realize it wasn't dual band. So I thought this TP-LINK Archer T4U AC1200 would solve the problem, but I was wrong. The product did not work at all on the two machines I tried it on. PROS: I can return it for a refund. TP-LINK support actually answers the phone. CONS: 1) It didn't work with my 64-bit Vista OS, in fact, the driver installation messed up the TP Link drivers…
