Review on 🔧 Refurbished Garmin Vívoactive GPS Smartwatch by Eddie Kittylovin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not a normal screen. Great watch

People who expect this watch to look like an overpriced Apple product or a flashy Google watch will be stunned by the Garmin Vivoactive 3. It has top notch features and costs over $200 in most cases (I fixed mine). Why is the screen so weird? Colors are washed out and backlight boosting makes the situation worse. That's actually normal. The Vivoactive 3 is for people who DO THINGS, like "outdoor people". This is where the screen looks best. It's always on, so it uses the reflective background of the LCD to contrast with "filled" cells. It reminds me of the first Gameboy color. It didn't look like your TV. It was like a calculator screen on steroids. In the photos you can see the clock at an angle with the backlight off and the backlight at 10%. Of course you can use both screens to check the time, but the one on the right looks really blue. In my phone (Moto 48 MP), the camera doesn't capture black people at all. Both were shot in very low light, with only one built-in light in my kitchen, and I was sitting on the opposite side of the room. It can be used indoors. It is VERY suitable for outdoor use. It looks best in sunlight and without a backlight. This is the key to ridiculous battery life. I work on the tracks both at night and in broad daylight. So I needed a watch that could withstand the abuse and remain readable even in the brightest of daylight. This watch does the job perfectly. I added a watch band, some custom bezels, and a screen protector for less than $20. Apple cannot touch the settings of this watch. Well, unless you want to spend a LOT more money to make your watch unique. And Google cannot touch the privacy of a Garmin product. Yes, I'm a nerd reading the EULA and tweaking the privacy settings. I have a Google watch and I can assure you that their phone app offers a bit of the flexibility of the Garmin phone app. I can only have one app that sends notifications to my watch when I want. I have no notifications. I can choose which apps I want my watch and app to interact with. And I can optimize my training so that it is less annoying. I do not work. is it too much So I needed a watch that would regularly tell me to get up and track my steps. That's all. The Garmin Vivoactive 3 can do MUCH more, but if you need minimal encouragement to keep moving, it can do that too. It has an insane amount of custom workouts that I will never use. And all without selling your personal information.
