Review on Dimmable Standard Enclosed Bulb by Luxrite - The Equivalent Solution by Robert Lodge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Found a trick to stop the flickering! I love the world now!

I posted a slightly premature review of the flickering dimmable bulbs I bought from Revain. I bought a 60w Luxrite A19 LED bulb, 4000K dimmable cool white light, 800 lumens, a standard 9w LED bulb. I wanted to be able to adjust or dim my bedroom table lamp with a remote control instead of almost falling off the bed to reach for the table lamps on either side of the bed and turn them on and off. The dimming function was also a must. Big Boxes and other local stores now have the compatible bulbs I was looking for, but only with a 3000K or 5000K temperature range. However, there is a definite difference between the two temperatures as I found after purchase and testing. The 3000K temperature gauges are very yellow. The 5000K temperature gauges are pretty blue. So if you need yellow or blue light, you've come to the right place. However, for some reason they don't sell a 4000K bulb which is the perfect neutral light and you would have a hard time finding one online that is dimmable. No idea why that is but I finally found these LUXRITE bulbs and they tick all my boxes, they're the right size, they're low power, they're 4000K and come with a 60W LED bulb ! I was so happy when they arrived so quickly! I ordered on Thursday evening and they arrived on Saturday afternoon! The! I know it was incredibly fast! So I opened the nicely packaged lightbulbs and put them in the sockets. The color was this beautiful real neutral light. Not too warm and not too cold :-). Unfortunately, when I dimmed them with my new wireless dimmer and remote purchased elsewhere, the lights started flickering, which was a deal breaker. So I wrote my first review explaining the problem, packaged it for return shipping, and went back online to find the elusive brand name bulbs that the company that sells the dimmer remote listed as compatible. None of the ones sold had a temperature rating of 4000K. None! So I googled the flickering issue and found a video that helped me solve the problem. Turns out there is a dial on the connector mount (bought elsewhere again) that I was able to adjust, which fixed the issue. This is a workaround but works for me. Anyway, now I LOVE the bulbs again and they don't flicker anymore! Of course I canceled my return :-). Highly recommend LUXRITE lightbulbs now as the color of this light is amazing at 4000K, the price was great and the shipping is SUPER FAST!
