Children also have bent ankles to account for their poor balance. The velcro has a metal piece on one side and it broke on the first day and would not bend to attach the velcro firmly and securely. They are also thick and bulky for children. It's easy to charge, but even if kids don't want to use the light function, their knuckle is always touching them during use and one or both just turn on.
