Simply great! I bought them as a present for my significant other because he asked for bocce ball. for Bocce) was the best idea. We played this game with 2 adults and 2 kids at the same time and had a great time! The balls are heavy and very durable (we've thrown them at each other from afar a few times but no dents or dents!). The patterns on the balls are very clear, making it easy (even in our tall grass) to tell who's who. The measuring line wasn't really needed as we played casually and just eyeballed who was closer. Their weight and sheen are impressive, they are attractive and make them well weighted like Quaits. The only downside is that the little wooden ball is VERY hard to see and we'll probably paint it to make it easier to play in the grass. But I don't think it justifies the loss of a star. One downside is that the lovely zipped pouch they come in was broken (haven't contacted the seller/tried to return it) and although it has two zips, one broke on the first attempt to unbox it. I considered replacing the bag but as the rest of the zip worked perfectly I didn't bother. The rest of the bag is great too. The handle on the end is very thick and strong and I feel confident carrying and storing balls in it with no problems. I think a slightly harder case on the bag would make it more durable for long term use, but we'll just have to see how it holds up over time! Highly recommended! Inexpensive, beautiful and fun set (and instructions included) for everyone!
