Review on Corelle Stoneware Dinnerware Oatmeal Reactive by Louis Asok

Revainrating 5 out of 5

New large Corelle bowls in heavy ceramic. A very useful size.

This is Corelle's new handcrafted porcelain tile. 4 in a box. They're a lot heavier than the Glass Cockatiel, which I really like, but it's a nice change and I like the shape. This is no ordinary dinner plate. We've used them for pasta, salad, a boho style bean dinner with avocado, herbs, tomatoes, etc. and nothing came out of the box. We all enjoyed eating from this tall plate with a string around the rim and it's quite large. It's well glazed, smooth on the bottom too, and won't scratch other utensils when you put them on it. These stack nicely on the bottom of the dishwasher, but before turning the dishwasher on I had to set them upright again to make sure water didn't get into them, which could cause them to fall forward. (KitchenAid dishwasher) Better than I expected and meets Prop 65. That means these Corelle bowls are 99% or more lead and cadmium free, just like Corelle's white dinnerware, but this dinnerware is made in the USA, this ceramic dinnerware is made in China. They were packaged in a sturdy, thick Corelle box, perfect for gifts. (Holiday coming). None of these Corelles have broken or broken, packaged very well. The color is called "Oatmeal" and the name suits the color. Although I will buy another set of 4.5 stars.
