Needed replacement forks and a weight for my ordinary bbq grill, the pictures made these look a little chintzy, but the price was good. Big suprise, a heavy package arrived. The forks, weight and collar are industrial strength with heavy chrome plating. Much heftier than I need for a chicken, my grill will take a small (12#) Turkey, these would hold a 25 pounder. Fork points well protected with plastic caps. I have a 5/16 spit rod, these also fit the 3/8 style. Thought I would need to replace the thumb screws as in pics they realy appeared thin. Nope, an inch across top, easy to grip and plenty strong. Not stainless, but I plan to wash and dry before putting away. Weight looks small in picture but weighs a pound.
