My daughter has severe eczema, one of the worst cases I have seen in a while. We have to keep her on Benadryl at all times because she will scratch until she bleeds out. We tried everything and in the end the doctor referred us to CerVe instead of Cetaphil. The cream does its job very well. We have to bathe my daughter every night and that continues right after. It's thick, but doesn't weigh you down like many creams. We rub it in until you see some white, then dress her in long pajamas to ensure maximum hydration. This material allowed my child to be a child. She rarely yells now when we have to wear this because it soothes the itching and doesn't irritate the skin. To be honest this thing is amazing.
