I bought these sandals for my 9 year old daughter to wear to school and summer camp. They fit her comfortably and have withstood almost daily wear for the past 2 ½ months. She wore them to school and they showed no signs of wear even after her daily adventures at the playground. She wore them on the beach to rock climbs by the ocean, and now wears them daily to her outdoor summer camp, where she plays ball games, hikes dirt trails, rides her bike, and swims in the pond with them. on the. They are easy to clean with a little soap and water and dry quickly. I would recommend them for active kids. They smelled a little, but as long as I wash them often, they're fine. She loves them and I am happy that she wears sturdy shoes for all the activities she does every day.
