Before you buy this sponge, consider how you plan to use it. It doesn't clean better or faster or absorb more water than other sponges, but it can be a little more durable. For many uses it probably isn't worth the extra cost - I usually throw out sponges because they get too dirty or start to smell (durability isn't an issue). on rougher surfaces than some of the cheaper brands I've tried (which are more prone to snagging or crumbling, leaving tiny bits of sponge behind). It's not a miracle cure, but it can offer superior performance for certain applications. Nice and thick too.
