Opening and closing the flip cover
I couldn't move the flip cover up and down. It was very hard and I suggest the old remedy. My mom showed me years ago that to do this, you just take a bar of dry hand soap and rub it in the grove. Now it goes up and down like oiled. Soap is not visible and you get a great sliding lid bread box. You can pass this on to the manufacturer or to your customers. Trust me it works. You simply rub the soap into the grove once or twice. I love my bread box.
