This product is beautifully finished and if you remove the plastic wrap on the bottom don't forget it! - It definitely sticks to its surface well enough that the MagSafe charger doesn't pick up with your phone. And if it's not obvious to anyone how to properly insert a MagSafe charger into the dock, DO NOT simply "push" the MagSafe charger up into the dock's recess. You will need to thread the MagSafe charger through the dock from the bottom and all the way up through the dock by rotating the MagSafe charger 90 degrees from the notch in the dock before inserting it (i.e. the edge of the MagSafe charger should be facing up first move through and divide the bridge cutout in half). Once you've done that, insert the MagSafe charger into the DOWN of the dock cutout at the top, and then insert the MagSafe cable into the cable groove under the dock. probably without damaging anything, but neither the product page nor the included manual tells you exactly how to do it. I have found that the correct method is with lateral force. Basically, grab both side edges of the dock with your middle three fingers (maybe your pinky too) and then pull on the dock as if you're trying to drag it across the surface it's attached to. It takes some force, but it comes off without damaging the surface or leaving a mark, and afterward it still sticks to another surface. I wouldn't recommend prying it off (although you can get a small tool underneath) and trying to rotate it on the table didn't seem to work either, which I've tried because it's the way it's supposed to be. Release Blue-Tac which I use as a great fastener with no residue or damage to other items. Overall very happy with the quality of this product. Does what it's supposed to and looks great!
