I love these bottoms so much I bought 3 colors to mix and match with different bikini tops. The top band and inner bottom of the bikini are made from a very stretchy material found in a regular bathing suit, while the outer shorts are made from a slightly stretchy nylon material that is more similar to the material found in traditional men's swimming trunks. There is also an elastic band in the waistband. For sizing, take your usual size or use the size chart. I'm 5ft 4in, about 130 and the small size fits perfectly. Not too tight, forms a "crown" but should not fall off while swimming. If you are between sizes, reduce the size. I was bordering on sizes and also tried medium and they were a bit too big, they were fine just standing/sitting but thought they would fall off in the water. These shorts are very comfortable, flattering and I look forward to wearing them on my pool and hot tub vacation! I've never been very comfortable in tiny bikini bottoms so these would be the perfect alternative! I really like that they have built in bikini bottoms as the legs of the shorts are loose otherwise I would have to wear separates. A built in keeps them in place better. I like their height, they're just below the belly button, not too low and not too high. The length of the shorts is perfect too! The colors are very beautiful! In the photo there is no red with an orange belt, which is actually my favorite color, it's very bright and cheerful and goes well with any light-colored top! not really. Either have a real bag or don't put a fake in it!
