I've been exercising for a few months now and most days I have shin splints. Sometimes they are so bad that I have to turn around and go home. Once I even had to call my husband to pick me up. I've read that my high arch could be to blame and sturdier shoes might help. The ASICS website recommended several pairs but these were the cheapest. I took a break for about a week to rest my feet and came back wearing these boots. I had NO shins. More than a week has passed, and the shins did not even hurt. I love these shoes.
