Review on 🏄 INNO Racks: Locking Surfboard Roof Rack - Ultimate Water Sport Car Top Mount by Greg Muiznieks

Got an 03 Suburban Luggage Rack. Had to do some research to see if it would fit factory racks due to negative reviews from others (racks need to be max 3.5" wide x 1.2" thick to work, or 90mm x 30mm, so it works without a set of long screws). Easy to install but there are a few issues. Not quite sure how tight the little screws are; I was afraid I would somehow crack the plastic - or is it nylon? - the base, but after playing around with it for a few minutes I figured it out. Another thing was that the Inno didn't sit upright on my stance—not because of the Inno's design, but because the Suburban's factory stance was shaped like an airplane wing—thick in the front and narrow in the back. Unless you have extreme OCD, this shouldn't be a problem. I think I'll get used to it! Haven't mounted a shortboard or longboard on it yet but rode the WRV 9-0 for a few hours and today was looking for waves in the hell of a wind left over from yesterday's big storm (aka Saturn Storm) and this Board didn't move at all and the extra hissing/whistling wasn't a problem at all. Maybe I'll update the review after a trip to Hatteras in a few weeks. When I loosened the strap the wires got tangled in the ratchet and I had to pull a little to loosen it. But maybe it was my fault for over-tightening the harness. I would give him 5 stars if there was a way to get him to sit on the rubber wedges maybe? All in all a good product, feels solid, the lock seems ok, the wires are a bit flimsy, but not many surfboard thieves go around with wire cutters. It's really chilling to stop honest people and crimes of convenience, if you had a $2000 Robert August I'd keep it in the truck.
