Excellent goal! Bought for the foot of the stairs in the entrance. Used to use baby gates and slides between spindles on stairs to go up and down when needed. It looks much more beautiful and wonderful when you open the panel to get through. No more spinning spindles to move baby gates! Our dog stays downstairs and we leave it open just enough for the cats to easily get through to go upstairs. We have two dogs and two cats. This way we leave a small space for the cats but close enough to block the dogs. With support legs, the gate looks quite stable. I love the double hinge feature so I can push or pull the gate and it can move in any direction.
