Nice design but arrived broken

I love that it doesn't have the volume control that the stock Astro cable does (which spins when rubbing your shirt as hard as it always does) and is also light/flexible, but the wire makes a TERRIBLE static noise when even the slightest load is applied to it. I suspect something is loose in the switch. Maybe a manufacturing defect? It happens I think. I will contact the seller and see if I can get a replacement, will update this review if all goes well.
