So, for starters I bought this because I was having an incredibly difficult time finding an aftermarket unit to add the Pioneer CarPlay radio to my 2005 Honda Accord. This was the best option I could find for what I was looking for. It was installed by a friend who installs radios and works with sound systems and it didn't go well just because he didn't follow the first step which was to turn off the unit and get the radio codes before installing the meter. block c. It's been an 8 month journey to diagnose what went wrong with it, but long story short, my AC stopped working and the vents just blew HEAT. They blew heat even when the power was off. I think it was passive engine air. I took it to 3 different places where they checked all the obvious things like Freon levels, A/C compressor functionality and fuses. Until I took it to a Honda dealer no one could fix it. For the aftermarket it was 4 stars. The only problem I had was you had to cut out a section of the cabinet frame for the radio/AC box and once you've done that there is no turning back. Don't waste a single screw as you will need every one. And it takes about 1-3 hours depending on your skills.
