Some of the smaller reviews made me nervous but I really needed a new laptop for college. PRONTO and it was next day delivery so I trusted that. I'm glad I did. I love my little laptop so far. My favorite thing that my other laptop didn't have is that the battery life lasts FOREVER, which is very important for work, college, and life in general. When I first charged it (like many laptops it's a good idea to give it a long charge before you boot it up) I think it lasted a full two days! To be honest, I was very busy getting some things into my room, but I was impressed that the battery life didn't decrease. he continues to work miracles. Yes, you can get it out of S mode - I'd recommend doing this before doing schoolwork, visiting a store, etc as it can take a while. Make sure you search for "windows updates" in the search bar and get ALL the updates you need as this will result in an error message if you are not up to date. This will take a while so be patient and prepare for it to restart once or twice to start the updates. then just search for "switch from S mode" in the same search bar and you're done. I saw someone complain about it running slow in S mode? but that was not the case for me at all. beautiful, fast, reliable. I also saw another reviewer complain about it not being a touchscreen. Spring. it is clearly marked as "No-Touch". I don't know what they expected from the touchpad. To right-click, hold down two fingers and it will right-click instead of just right-clicking (like my old one). If you don't like such touchpads, a mouse might be a good option, but for me I like it, it's comfortable and quite responsive. have lots of color and a little fuzzy. It will still show you and be filmed on the webcam, but be prepared for the image to become discolored. it doesn't really matter to me as I don't have to use my webcam very often. Like everything in life, this will be your verdict - what do you expect from a laptop? Are you looking for a powerful gaming PC with a crystal clear webcam? Well it's not for you. If you're a student like me, or just need a good, reliable, lightweight laptop that's good for note-taking, schoolwork, and portability, I'd highly recommend it. :) Even rose gold can't hurt. Nice. :) PS I'm currently around. Chrome currently has 20 tabs open, including this one, and I haven't noticed any slowness at all. PPS I will update this review if my satisfaction changes or the quality degrades.
