Review on Enhanced Performance: PEAK Adaptive Cushioning Running Sneakers for Men – Ideal Athletic Shoes by Jim Ledbetter

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Good heel and ankle area

Update: My first pair of these shoes, bought over a year ago, are very good. Has good padding and what I mentioned in the review below. I would give the first pair 4-5 stars. I bought a second pair and it's a little different. The tab on the back has been removed (which is fine with me) but the padding on the bottom (which is really important) doesn't feel as soft, definitely a bit stiffer. So I probably won't be buying a third pair at the moment but I'm giving the second pair 3 stars as they're ok but inferior to the last one I bought. First Review: Good: I mostly buy a size 12 and these size 12 fit me really well. The heel and ankle area is very comfortable and the heel/boot outsole has good foam cushioning which I really like. Not So Good: The knit that supports the laces and upper is chunky and internal knit. This causes the top of the foot near the toes to dig in slightly when walking. My solution so far has been to wear thick socks or 2 pairs of socks. I also noticed that I had pain on the inside of my left heel. Apparently this is because the inside of the shoe is very rough and unpadded in the heel area where the sole meets the side. The inside is good but where it ends and the side of the shoe begins is a hard material that can cut my heel a bit. 5 stars is easy if it weren't for these two issues. 4 stars with them which I think is still a worthy rating from me.

  • TAICHI SMART ADAPTIVE MIDSOLE: Breathable polymer material and TAICHI EVA foam composite midsole, which can provide adaptive slow rebound cushioning depending on the sport. The improved cushioning midsole ensures perfect shock absorption. Finally a shoe that suits you.
