This was a great little seat for our 2 year old. It ties securely to our industrial metal dining chairs and stays where it belongs. I sprayed it with water repellent before use to prevent stains and spills, although the inside of the lid looks like it has a mold or barrier. But the stains still appeared, and there are also stains on the foam pillow. I only treated the stains and didn't dry them, hoping the stains wouldn't soak into the fabric and fade over time with each wash. It's short on our chairs, but it uses the surface of the chair for the legs. Advantages: The cover is removable and washable. The cushion is very thick and holds its shape well even after sitting on it (ha) Cons: This particular cover got dirty pretty quickly but it's white and that's to be expected, I was just hoping it would be a bit more would be stain resistant. However, liquids can penetrate the coating and stain the foam.
