I bought this bowl for my Siamese cat. I serve him his wet food on top of him. The small bowl is big enough so food doesn't move around like it's on a flat plate, and the sides are short enough not to get in the way of his mustache. I put it on a paper plate so the food doesn't spill out. The bowl is perfect for 1-2 oz pieces of gravy because it holds all the gravy well.
