Review on ⌚ Timeless Elegance: Bulova Men's Watch by Tanika Spencer

My new favorite watch

This watch is beautiful. Very elegant. If you watch the video on it, it will be just as brilliant as this video. The watch itself is surprisingly light (especially compared to some very large Invicta watches I've worn) but doesn't feel cheap or break easily. The packaging is a bit boring. Maybe I just got spoiled by other watchmakers including a few books, warranty cards and pillows to rest your watch on. This watch came in a nice box with a cardboard watch stand but only 1 short multilingual book which was very well hidden under the foam at the top of the box. The outer ring of the dial is matt white and can be adjusted. the only handle on the opposite side of the crown. It's really cool and I haven't seen this feature on other watches. The face itself is like satin white. It is great. Another thing I like about this watch is that the date is not recessed very much like some other watches. If it's too deep, it casts a harsh shadow, making it difficult to read. It has only a slight shadow and the bright red number is easy to read on a white background. The chronograph is also very good. Haven't played with it too much yet, but I believe the dial furthest from the crown is the minutes, so I'm guessing it's just a 60-minute chronograph. The bottom dial is the main watch seconds and the watch second hand is the chronograph seconds. A lot of people don't realize this with better looking watches and it seems to me that this is a fairly common design. However, what I like most about a chronograph is the dial closest to the crown. It's actually tenths of a second. It's really awesome. I have 2 other cute watches, both have a chronometer and neither of them have this. I think people should know about the strap as well. For me this is probably my second favorite thing about a watch, but for others it might not. My wrist is about 8.5 inches in diameter. Many of the watches I buy barely fit me. This watch has a large bracelet. It just suits me. It's loose enough that I can slip my fingers under it, but not so loose that it slips off my hand. I like that about it. I think for most others with smaller wrists you will need to remove some of the links. Overall, I've only had this watch for about a day and I still don't have any compliments, but everyone I pass can see their eyes are fixed directly on it. It definitely catches the eye. It has some nice features and its quality is what you would expect from its Bulova namesake. I have Invcta, Citizen and Focal watches but these are my favorites now. I won't wear it every day because it's so eye-catching, but I love wearing it. I highly recommend this watch as long as it lasts. But since I have a 3-year warranty, I'm not worried about that.
