Not only have I purchased this product from Meater, I have also purchased some of their other products such as the Meater Block. Conceptually, it seemed like the perfect smoking product, especially with wireless connectivity. Now for reality. The article is incorrect. When the sensors rotated side by side not only because of the huge difference in temperature, but didn't show any temperatures of 1 or more at all. Also note, what is worse, this company does not have a support number - there is a reason, this is a sham. You have to wait a few days to get an answer. Aside from the frontline store/warehouse in the US, there are no US representatives you can personally call. If you go through their online form, they get nasty and constantly insist their product is perfect and it's your fault (I'm a grill master and don't do retail products). They bind you to them and only fulfill the deadline after the 30-day money-back period has expired. So please be patient until other products come out that have real customer service or until you regret this overpriced product. In my decades of existence I have never experienced a company that behaved in this way. I know there is a tendency not to read 1 star but there is a story there. Proceed with caution. If they try this game on you too, don't forget to call your credit card company and complain that they gave you a faulty product and they should get their money's worth.
