Review on 🧩 SoftZone Patchwork Toddler Activity Mat: Colorful, Safe Foam Pad for Crawling and Tummy Time by Sylvia Young

I love this rug! in Mattress Protector

This mat is awesome! It's big and doesn't fold, so make sure you have room for it. We have a small living room and it takes up most of our space, but it's light and we just lean it against the wall behind the sofa when we're not using it. It's solid blue at the bottom and we've turned that side out so it's not as noticeable when not in use. It kind of fades into the background (because we have light blue/grey walls). We have hardwood floors and no rugs/rugs anywhere, which is not conducive for the baby to practice sitting, learning to crawl, lying on his tummy, etc. We tried using a blanket, but it's easy with every movement crumpled. Yes you can put one of those pads you use under the mat under the duvet but I don't think that will provide enough cushion if the baby falls over. This mat is thick enough to practice sitting and crawling on. If he falls and hits his head, he's fine! Not the same for a blanket on the floor or a rug (hard landing, which we also learned the hard way). We also use this blanket under his sweater. Our kid is a maniac at this business and eventually gets blisters on his toes from such jumps. The jumper now lies down on the mat and bounces off without bubbles. Overall this is a great little playmat. The different colors are attractive and we even ordered the included foam blocks (to use when she grows a bit). It has enough space for my husband and I to sit with him and even lay next to him to play. It is also comfortable to lie on. If you have space, I highly recommend it. It is well built and we will benefit a lot from it. Not just for him, but I'm sure that will be enough for a second child, and then some. Very happy with this purchase and will order from this company again!
