Dogs don't wear coats like people do. The legs should not go over the arms, and the Velcro should not run down the center of the dog like a zipper on a human coat. I've seen products for dogs that have velcro attached to their neck and belly. much better. I've also seen products where one leg goes through the arm and the wool is wrapped around the back and then the other front leg. much better. much more adaptable to the size of the dog. bad design is accentuated by terrible size. sizes are wrong. my 18 lb Shizapu didn't fit the average size. it was so far away that i don't think it could fit in the large size. Had the size been correct the design flaws would have been reduced but worse. I would not recommend this coat. I encourage marketers to change the design and size and you will have an incredible product. the coat itself is of good quality. I shop conveniently on Amazon. I don't have time to repack and send the coat back. It's 11pm for the sewers. I will give it good will and hope someone with a small dog can use it.
