I have not used a carrier for my cat before, but I have started collecting them. The product feels solid and roomy enough for my 12lb fluffy ball. Unlike the previous carrier I owned, the cat doesn't seem able to get its claws into the inside corners when trying to burrow and hide. And I hope the zippers aren't that easy to unzip from the inside because in my old carrier I had to use safety pins to prevent one of my old cats from opening from the inside. Yes, the older cat was Houdini.
