I bought it to replace the regular one from FX8350 in the render node. The regular one, although he coped, was buzzing at the same time so that his head began to hurt. I took the first inexpensive cooler I liked - and did not lose. The cooler is easier to install than stock. In quiet mode, when the processor is fully loaded, it does not heat up above 45, makes almost no noise, and does not hurt the head. For $20 a great thing if you are not going to overclock the processor - a great replacement for a regular AMD vacuum cleaner.
