Review on 🔪 High-Quality Morakniv Garberg Full Tang Fixed Blade Knife with Durable Sandvik Stainless Steel Blade, 4.3-Inch by Stetson Olsen

I've been wearing it every day for over a year now to get a good feel for the knife. I've used it for everything from woodworking outdoors to cutting plastic strapping at work to cooking at home. I can honestly say, with a few caveats, that this is one of the best knives I have ever bought. The blade takes on a serrated edge (it originally had a slight secondary bevel, but I converted it to a regular Scandinavian sharpness after it dulled) and stays on it almost as well as an O-1 or even an M2, but with the added value of stainless steel. My only complaint is that the original factory bevel cut was very rough and it took a while to smooth it out, the cut was even on both sides so it's more of a cosmetic thing than anything. The blade feels heavy at first. and although i wouldn't like the grip as it feels so hard but after so many hours of using it exclusively for everything i have never had a blister or even a hot spot and this is the only time that it has ever slipped into my hands while wearing gloves and they were covered with snow. The only thing stopping me from giving it a perfect score is that eventually (after about 6 months) the blade became loose enough in its sheath that it could fall out if turned upside down and even giggled slightly. I fixed the problem by first putting on the snap loop ring and then slipping the belt loop ring underneath, then I sewed together the two narrowest parts of each belt and actually got a belt loop that supports a mount with a snap loop to keep the knife in place , after that everything was perfect. And despite the severe beatings, the scabbard held up remarkably well. Overall, I liked them so much that I keep them firmly in my emergency bag as my blade for when/when I really need them. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a serious work blade. If you buy one, be sure to round off the edges of the shank protruding from the back of the handle with 400-grit sandpaper, it gnaws mercilessly through clothing. or camping gear that will unfortunately rub against it if you don't.
