I used it for the first time this morning after receiving it the day before. This replaced the curling brush I used from Calista Tools. My hair is thick and about 5 inches below my shoulders. The barrel is 1" and my previous one was 1.5". After the application my conclusion is: I LOVE IT! First the pen. I immediately noticed that my health was getting much better. I mean really better. It felt perfectly in my hand and was smooth. The heat dial is closer to the top of the knob, which was an advantage since my hand didn't get in the way of the settings. With my hair length, I didn't have a problem with the fact that the trunk was a bit smaller. I like that it has multiple heat settings. My previous brand only had two. I also like that I can safely grip plastic tips without burning my hands. I've never had such control or security with a standard curling iron. The curling brush's plastic tips are longer than what you can buy in stores and I need and want it. They are half the length and didn't hold my hair and had to be sent back. Price: About $70 less than my previous one, this brand was much better. I'm so happy with Phoebe. Of course, I've only used it once, but I'm sure my opinion won't change. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I still really like it. Adjustable temperature settings are great for different styles!
