We have a security system for our house and it is very expensive. These fake cameras have been a great addition until we can add more cameras in the future to cover our entire house with real cameras. They look almost as good as the real ones. The recording red light is a great feature and the battery lasted a long time. We have an old house which makes it difficult to install our real security system, but these "dummy" cameras are on our windowsills. If you want to mount one, it looks like that would be very easy. We are happy with this purchase.
