WALI Security Flashing Warning SD 4 Review

These bad guys look real when used correctly. Real domes are darkened and you cannot see the inner lens. Set them up like this and you won't be able to tell them apart from fakes. Mix them with real ones or just use all fake ones.

Do they look like real cameras? Yes. Do they deter criminals? Who knows. I mounted mine with good quality double sided tape (didn't want to drill holes). I would strongly recommend not putting batteries in LED lights. I don't think there is a similarly functioning camera on the market with bright red LEDs. The LEDs on them just make them scream fake. Don't use them. However, they are still a replica and good value.

If they can fool the police, I believe they can fool the criminals. A week after we installed the dome camera dummies, there was an incident that resulted in the police knocking on our door asking to see our surveillance footage. I had to tell him they were fake. The rear windows of 11 cars were shot through with a pneumatic pistol. We've just built our new home and haven't had a chance to install a new security system yet. I ordered these as a temporary deterrent and placed them on both sides of our home along with ADT safety signs front and back. They look real and are very easy to install with outdoor tape. Firstly, 3 out of 4 devices had scratches on the case or the transparent part of the dome when unpacked. They didn't look like they had been handled long before packaging.
