Do they look like real cameras? Yes. Do they deter criminals? Who knows. I mounted mine with good quality double sided tape (didn't want to drill holes). I would strongly recommend not putting batteries in LED lights. I don't think there is a similarly functioning camera on the market with bright red LEDs. The LEDs on them just make them scream fake. Don't use them. However, they are still a replica and good value.
