A> Made in China but boxed/ Suunto branded. It's impossible to tell if it's OEM or a cheap fake sold at a high price. B> Use on Suunto Ambit 3 Peak. The cable clip on the side of the watch does not open wide enough to attach to the watch. The only way to connect is to tilt the clip up, position the top/plate of the clip over and behind the top edge of the watch, then gently rotate it down until the contacts line up, then release the clip . And of course, be careful not to damage the contacts! C> The narrow area in the top clamp had a protruding flare and a rough area that could contact the watch glass. I had to trim it carefully not to damage the watch glass. D> Very poor ergonomic design of the clip. The curvature and lack of grippy material and/or ridges on the clip means it slips out from under your fingers when you open it. In this case, the contacts on the clip or worse on the watch can be damaged. The original Suunto design has a similar curvature, but at least it has ridges to prevent it.
