I came across this case while looking through hundreds of options here on Amazon. I love the idea of a translucent iPad case to protect my new iPad Air. It is similar in function to the Apple Smart Case. The bottom of the case that houses the iPad is made of a thick, silicone-like material that securely holds the iPad and minimizes damage from falls or accidents. The pencil is perfectly formed. It easily picks up a pencil and holds it securely in place while still being magnetically charged. The fingerprint recognition hole is perfectly positioned, making it easy to use the iPad's Touch ID. Opening the front bezel wakes the iPad from sleep mode. Closing it puts it in sleep mode. Always works correctly. The inner front cover (the side that touches the iPad screen) feels almost like a soft suede material. I'm glad I did. It really looks like a proper essay book. This makes the iPad look a little less desirable when left on a table. I've received several compliments on this so far.
