These scrapers work well. This is the base element. I recommend solid metal ones as they are dishwasher safe and don't have a rubber grip that will crack over time. I threw away the rest because the rubber grip had gone bad. In theory, copper is the best material because it is resistant to bacteria. Copper items cannot be washed in the dishwasher, so washing them this way is not best. I also put my electric toothbrush heads in the dishwasher about once a month.
