I really like these sheets even though I haven't had them very long. I have the navy blue ones in California king size. Durability and Thickness: They held up well to the first wash and dry, if they start falling apart I'll change this rating. They appear strong, but they are not fat. You can see through them when you hold them, especially when you're looking at the light from the other side, but also when you're not looking. When the fitted sheet is laid flat on the bed, we can clearly see the ribs on the mattress (but not the color or pattern of the mattress). Also, I have a standard comforter and it keeps pulling the top sheet down, usually just an inch or two, but it's still a bit annoying. My husband and I are talking about getting a lighter weight comforter to see if that helps. I'll update when we do this and indicate if it helps or not. Oh and the elastic in the sheet is nice, very thick and strong. My husband has a habit of taking sheets with him when he turns over and we ended up having to get those sheet clasps (or belts or suspenders or whatever you want to call them) to hold the corners together with our other sheets, but we forego them you don't need them with this set. Texture and feel: It should be noted that I have very sensitive skin, sometimes even cotton or paper is too rough for me. That being said, when I run my fingers across these sheets I can feel some roughness in my fingertips, but when I lie on these sheets they feel very smooth and smooth (in a good way). My husband loves these sheets because they are smooth and when he turns on the fan and raises it up they stay cool and also block the feeling of wind. Color: I bought navy blue sheets and I love the color. It is a beautiful rich blue color and when bright light falls on it, it sparkles. Overall I like these sheets. They have a great color and texture. It can keep you warm but also stay cool when the fan blows on it. The elastic on the sheet is nice and the corners stay on the bed. I just want them not to shrink under the weight of a standard blanket and I want them to be a bit thicker.
