The light can still be switched on and off with the light switch and usually with the supplied remote control. Delivery: Goods arrived quickly, well packaged and complete. Brightness: The light is very bright. We placed two of these to replace the puck motion sensors that weren't that bright. We are very satisfied with the brightness. Charging: All five lights in the pack charge fully a little quicker than the instructions and advertising expect. Once charged, they are either always on or intermittently on for as long as specified in the list. Functions: All of the above functions worked well, both with the switch and the remote control. Two features have parameters that are superior to other LED lights with motion detection that we have used. The motion sensor turns the light on when there is movement, even in daylight or when the lights in the room are on. The former works well in the hallway where we need some extra light at night and the latter works well in the freezer where we want the light to come on when we open the door. Secondly, the dimming function also works when using the motion detection or timer functions. . Some of the other puck LEDs were dimmed, but only when in "constant on" mode and not in auto mode. These lights will maintain the dimming level you set in all modes when you adjust the brightness with the remote control. This makes sense, for example, for use as a night light in our bedroom, where you don't necessarily need full brightness. We plan to order at least one more set of these devices.
